Open Question: Does this seem like an ok idea for a short story?

I plan on the title being "The Healer". I apologize if it sounds a bit rough at the moment. It's about a man named David Truong, who has the inexplicable ability to heal any disease/ailment. He's also completely terrified of dying. To help delay his death, he will heal anyone who needs it...for a price. In order to help them, David demands that they shorten their lifespan by 5 years and give said years to him, which increases his life by the same amount. However, if the sick person dies within 5 years after being healed, David will be awarded 20 years instead of 5. Since David knows he can squeeze out such a generous amount of time, he preys on people who are almost guaranteed to die within 5 years. Unknown to the sick, David can only suppress their symptoms while not actually curing the diseases. If they have cancer, for example, the tumors and pain will go away, but they will still die from the illness. His ability only grants them a painless death. So, what do you think? Is it cliche? Boring? Talk to me. more

Idk if i have hookworms. My mom thinks i might too. But what are the symptoms? Would some come out in ur pee or soemthing? please help! and if i do have them, how do i get rid of them??????? more

Open Question: Anxious when separated from my dog?

Okay, first of all, I live a very hard life, and I deal with depression. I'm 15, and because of my parents being too busy in court trying to destroy each other's life, I was stuck training my dog on my own. He's a 2 year old cockapoo, and I love him very much, he's my dog, and no one else's. We have a connection that most people say they had never seen with a dog before. Now my problem is when I try to go out with friends, all the symptoms of my depression are there, not hungry, feeling like crying, and all I can think about is what he's doing and if he's alright. My best friend knows how much he means to me, so every time I go to her house her comes along. Now when my parents fight I do cry, even if he's with me, but other than that I feel happy when he's around. For an example, yesterday was Canada Day (like july 4th for Canada) so I went downtown with a group of friends to see all the excitement and the fireworks. When I got there, I saw a lot of dogs, and started feeling this weight in my chest, and then had to go home to see him, and then I brought him to smaller fireworks in a park. Do you have any ideas how to "cure" this?I tried this in mental health with no answers, so I figures Dog section would be better :) more

Open Question: How to cure betta bloating?

I already checked, no dropsy symptoms. He probably ate too much (he lives in a 10 gallon tank with other fish). The other fish don't bother him that much. I plan to quarantine him in a small bowl and starve him for a day, then put him back if he gets better. If I have to feed him peas, what kind of peas? PLEASE, I'm desperate. Open Question: Healing from psychological trauma?

I have worked for years on emotional healing from childhood sexual abuse, and about a year ago I noticed a dramatic improvement. I experience far fewer flashbacks, and they are less intense. I am comfortable managing them when they come up, and I feel confident in my ability to continue doing so. Basically, I came to the conclusion that in general, I am in a place that is closer to "healed." However, I am now beginning to question/doubt that position because of my first meeting with my new psychiatrist. He told me that I need to work harder on my trauma because if I am still having any symptoms at all, that means the trauma will inevitably come back full-force and take over my life someday unless I get it completely healed. He suggested EMDR and IFS, and I told him about my long experiences with trying both and how they did not work at all. His response was that EMDR and IFS work for almost everyone, and if they didn't work for me it was because I did not want them to work. I believe this to be completely untrue. I feel as though I have done everything I possibly can to work on my trauma, and the best I can do is remain in my current state of coping with the milder symptoms that remain and wait to see if things improve more over time. But I keep wondering if it is possible, as he suggested, for some method of therapy to completely "heal" the trauma...and if it is possible, whether or not it is ok for me to be satisfied with just being where I am with it. I would appreciate any thoughts or feedback, particularly on the issue of whether EMDR and IFS are the "miracle" trauma cures my psychiatrist implies that they are...whether or not they would be with my pursuing again. more

Open Question: Curing Rabbit Snuffles - Is Systemajuv a solution?

My buck has Snuffles. The vet diagnosed hime and prescribed Baytril. Although this seems to initally work a few hours after dosage, by the next day, he has reverted back to the original symptoms. He has been on Baytril for approx 1 & 1/2 months now and i am concerned about the long term effects of him being on this medication for this length of time. Also, i am concerned with the effects of having Snuffles for such a long time on his immune system. I have read a few reviews about Snuffles and Systemajuv seems to be mentioned as a very good solution. It is a herbal remedy added to the water and many report it clears up sufferers of long term Snuffles within 24 hours with lasting results. Has anyone used this? I also seem to only be able to find it in USA/$. Does anyone know if it is available within UK/£? Does anyone has other suggestions i could try? Other than the Snuffles, my buck is in perfect health, he eats and drinks reguarly and is alert and active. Thanks for your help!I'd just like to add that i am an experianced rabbit owner and have owned rabbits since my childhood. This rabbit is not my only rabbit. I have others also. A doe also had Snuffles a month ago but a course of Baytril over 1 week cleared hers up and so far it has not returned. The buck is isolated from the others so that he cannot pass it onto others but obviously this is a solitary life for him and i can tell Baytril isnt working for him. Really want to find a cure for it so he can enjoy himself again and not have this 'burden'. more

Voting Question: My friend just found out she has a minor std that is completely curable...?

...she guesses she's been having it for years since it develops no symptoms. She took the anti-biotic for it and should be cured in no time. Problem is, she's been feeling very depressed and anxious since she found out (this spawned ideas that a loved one in the past cheated on her and gave her the std). Im trying my best to cheer her up and tell her everything will be ok but its not working too well. I care so much for her and hate to see her sad. What can I do or tell her to make her happy again? :( Please help.. more

Voting Question: Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and Trich...?

So, I was diagnosed with Trichomoniasis about a month ago, about two months after starting a new sexual relationship. I found out because I went to get tested after having symptoms. I was tested for Trich, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia, and only the Trich test came back positive as far as I was informed. So I got treatment, but I took the pills incorrectly, by mistake. I also was given pills to give to my new boyfriend, and he took them, but he also took them wrong (wrong dosage at the wrong times). So I went back to the doctor, told them what happened, and she checked me again for gonorrhea, chlamydia and trich, and said I no longer had any STIs, and that even though I took the medicine wrong, I was still cured, but I could re-medicate to be sure, so I did, and I took the medicine right this time. She also informed me that I had a yeast infection, so I got pills for that. To sum it up, the yeast pills didn't work, so I took Monistat suppository, and then went BACK to the doctor, for a pap smear, and told her I still felt itchy. She confirmed with me again that I no longer had any STIs and that there was still yeast, but I'd get over it. THREE TIMES I was tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia and trich. Well, during all of that, my new boyfriend and I abstained from sex and we are still not sexually active. The whole time, he never got tested, and was just going off of what I was telling him! (Dumbass). So, when he wanted to have sex with me again, I obviously wouldn't (he's the one who gave me the STI!!!). I told him he had to get tested for everything, and show me his results ON PAPER before I ever would consider having sex again. So, he finally went to go get tested, and his results came back HIV negative Syphyllis negative Gonorrhea POSITIVE Chlamydia POSITIVE Trich negative How in the fukk is that possible!?!?! He actually had THREE STIs, and he only gave me one?! Is that possible? Is it possible for a man to have gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trich, and only pass on the trich to a female? Seriously. Because I had THREE tests that told me I don't have gonorrhea or chlamydia, and gonorrhea and chlamydia show up very quickly after unprotected sex, so I would know by now. Seriously wtf. I was sitting in the doctor's examining room WITH HIM when the doctor read the results, so I know this is accurate. Is this even possible? Has it ever happened? I'm asking because I want to know if I should be tested for a FOURTH time for these infections. I can't be walking around out here with gonorrhea and chlamydia and not know about it. I'm not cool with this whole situation... getting an STI from a guy who I was exclusive with... I never had an STI before and I don't sleep around. It's just gross... especially how he didn't RUN to the testing center after hearing he had trich. I had to MAKE him go. I can say definitively that I'm NEVER having sex with him again. THREE STIs!?!? WOW. You've gotta be a careless motherf'er. I'm so lucky he didn't have HIV. Anyway, so is this possible... for him to have THREE STI's and only give me one? more

Resolved Question: Anyone think they were pregnant and then turn out to have a cyst? How can you tell if it's a cyst & ur not?

What if you never have late periods and you havent had a period since april 20 but when you were 20 days late you got spotting for 2 days, and since then no period. you got a yeast infection, but you cured it, and your belly-button is tender on the inside and feels like it is popping out. its shallower inside than it was and seriously looks like its gonna flip inside out. i looked all this up online pregnant women are more prone to yeast infections due to sudden change in hormones and the belly button thing happens to women but usually not until about a month later than i would be which makes me worry maybe twins bcuz they run in my family. it also says that a cyst can cause pain around ur navel but mine is inside and doesnt hurt thatt bad, just tender. do you think it's pregnancy or could i have a cyst? they say cysts usually have no symptoms but if you do you will have pelvic pain and other stuff. i dont have any of those symptoms except change in menstrual cycle.. what do you think? im just looking for other possibilities bcuz im only 18 nd rly am not ready for a child please give me your honest opinion tho. more

Resolved Question: Gonorrhea and Chlamydia?

So I got a pap smear 2 weeks ago and got the results back and was unfortunetly positive for both gonorrhea and chlamydia. I went to the heath center today and got a shot for the gonorrhea and two pills for the chlamydia but the lady who treated me didnt really tell me how long it would take for me to be official cured. She did tell me that I need to withstand from any sexual activity for 7 days and that fine with me considering I am not sexually active at the moment. But what I am basically trying to get answers for is if anyone knows how long it will actually take for me to know if im cured, and for the record I do have symptoms so do I just tell by my symptoms disappearing. So if you have had one of these or actually both like I do could you please tell me some answers!oh and for the people who just commented I dont know how dangerous this is...and if you have never had a MISTAKE in your life then dont answer my questions useing common sense or in other words bull shit! Im learning from my mistake and living as well! more

Voting Question: What's wrong with me? (symptoms inside)?

So I have this THROBBING headache, that I think is a migraine. I can't eat anything, because I even upchuck the water I drink. Every once and a while, I feel like fainting when I get up, and sleep doesn't cure it, neither does Advil: Liqua-Gels. What is wrong with me?Oh, and my body gets REALLY confused about the temperature. Like, if there's a fan running, but it's still really hot, I get the chills, but if the a/c/ fan isn't on, I sweat like crazy, and the chills STILL don't go away... more

Voting Question: i have anal issues, what could it be?

So I have suffered from anal fissures for awhile now. where it is painful and bleeds when I use the restroom. However just a couple days ago, the pain was a lot worse and my anus was red, a little itchy and puffy. I also noticed my inner anus was white. while trying to figure out what the white stuff was by scratching it away, I noticed it was just dead skin. I looked up my symptoms and thought it was an STD of Gonorrhea. But talking to my friend about my symptoms he thought it might have just been an inner hemorrhoid. So I went and got some Hem cream and that reduced the puffiness & the pain. But I still have the white 'dead skin' and a little bit of itchiness, and it still hurts to go to the bathroom. I dont have insurance, so I cant really go to the doctor. So if someone can possibly have an idea of what I have, or how to cure it, that would be great! thanks! more

Resolved Question: Should I continue my Goldfish's Fungus treatment?

I noticed that my 3-4 Inch goldfish had some white discoloration on her top fin and two bottom fins, however it was not white and fluffy like advanced fungus. I added 1 packet of API Fungus cure (1 Packet per 10 gallons is the dose) because earlier in the year she had a similar fungus problem in the same place on her top fin. It is two days from when I administered the treatment, and the protocol instructs that 48 hours after the first dose, you add a second dose of the same size, then 48 hours after that you change the water and replace carbon. My issue is that her slight symptoms have completely vanished, and she never exhibited any behavioral symptons. I am also moving her next friday for 12 hours in a car, and I don't want to have her overstressed for the trip. So do I continue the treatment and add a second dose, or do I let it go as is for the remaining period as to not add any unneeded stress to the fish for the trip? Is the fungus likely to return within the next week if I don't continue the treatment? Let me know what you guys would do, I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna let it go as-is at this point. more

Voting Question: Vegetarian made me sick?

I really don't want any snide or sarcastic or hateful comments, I'm being really serious and want an equally serious answer so for 2 years I was vegan and was never sick. ever. I was in perfect health, lost weight, was very energetic; I never felt better in my life however, in early April I became vegetarian/pescatarian and within a month, I was rushed to the ER due to the one side of my body becoming very numb (I'm only 17). ever since May, I've had these numb/paresthesia feelings on the right side of my body including face, arm, leg, and fingers. it was not severe as that one time, but it is definitely there. I have also been eating vegetarian (and fish) through these last months though last week I did eat completely vegan and did not get the symptoms, however, I do not know if it was all in my mind or just the way that timing landed. I'm going to get an MRI in a few hours. but is there any kind of logical reasoning for this? could being vegan honestly be the cure for this? can being vegetarian/a meat eater cause this? more

Resolved Question: Why do I have continuous vaginal itching?

My vagina has been itching for maybe a little over a week now and i thought that i had a yeast infection so i took medicine and even the pill for it and the itching isn't gone, i had a urinary infection but it's cured now. Resolved Question: THIS IS MY COLLEGE APPLICATION ESSAY, IS IT READY TO BE SENT TO COLLEGES?

I would like to share with you something about my current medical situation. Ordinarily I would not do so, as I am an intensely private person, but I now accept that my physical limitations have quite possibly impacted my high school performance in a negative manner, and I feel that it is only fair that you have this information. Therefore, I am reluctantly going to allow access to information that I would never, otherwise, speak of. For the past several years, I have been afflicted by a physical situation that has sometimes interfered with my ability to focus, both in the classroom and out. I do not wish to be too specific about the symptoms of my disease, except to say that they are digestive in nature and sometimes require me to spend long periods of time in the Mens Room. Despite my terrible discomfort, I refused to accept that there might be something wrong with me, and would not seek treatment. I know now that I should have been less determined to suffer in silence and more willing to accept help. Finally, my parents insisted on bringing the matter to the attention of a physician. I was tested, over a period of several weeks, for colon cancer, Crohn’s Disease, intestinal obstructions, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett’s esophagus, Heliocobacter pylori (commonly known as ulcer), celiac sprue (commonly known as wheat allergy), lactose intolerance, gallstones, bile duct stones, sclerosing cholangitis (the narrowing of the bile ducts), “Sphincter of Oddi” dysfunction and pancreatitis. You can imagine how relieved I was to learn that I had none of these terrible diseases. Finally, I received the diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). IBS is sometimes known as spastic colon, nervous colon, nervous stomach, mucous colitis and spastic colitis, and is distinguished by abnormal bowel habits, such as diarrhea (loose stools), constipation or sometimes, as in my own case, both. It is well known to experts in this field that periods of stress can intensify the severity of IBS. I have certainly found my busy schedule of six honors/AP classes, Varsity field hockey, swimming and track teams, performing lead roles in three consecutive Spring Musicals, volunteering at the local animal shelter, tutoring at-risk children, and working three evenings a week plus all day Saturday at The Gap to be, at times, stressful, but of course it is impossible to say what has caused me to be afflicted with this very horrible syndrome. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS or spastic colon) is a diagnosis of exclusion. It is a functional bowel disorder characterized by chronic abdominal pain, discomfort, bloating, and alteration of bowel habits in the absence of any detectable organic cause.[1] In some cases, the symptoms are relieved by bowel movements.[2] Diarrhea or constipation may predominate, or they may alternate (classified as IBS-D, IBS-C or IBS-A, respectively). IBS may begin after an infection (post-infectious, IBS-PI), a stressful life event, or onset of maturity without any other medical indicators. Although there is no cure for IBS, there are treatments that attempt to relieve symptoms, including dietary adjustments, medication and psychological interventions. Patient education and a good doctor-patient relationship are also important. Several conditions may present as IBS including celiac disease, Fructose malabsorption,[3] mild infections, parasitic infections like giardiasis, several inflammatory bowel diseases, functional chronic constipation, and chronic functional abdominal pain. In IBS, routine clinical tests yield no abnormalities, though the bowels may be more sensitive to certain stimuli, such as balloon insufflation testing. The exact cause of IBS is unknown. The most common theory is that IBS is a disorder of the interaction between the brain and the gastrointestinal tract, although there may also be abnormalities in the gut flora or the immune system. IBS does not lead to more serious conditions in most patients. But it is a source of chronic pain, fatigue, and other symptoms, and it increases a patient's medical costs, and contributes to work absenteeism. Researchers have reported that the high prevalence of IBS, in conjunction with increased costs produces a disease with a high societal cost. It is also regarded as a chronic illness and can dramatically affect the quality of a sufferer's life. In fact, doctors do not know what causes IBS, or why people who share my disease feel the need to have a bowel movement soon after eating, causing diarrhea, or why the prolonged spasm of the large intestine causes stool to stay in one area for too long and get dried out, resulting in small hard stools (constipation). As of today, palliative treatments are only in the experimental stage, and the hard truth is that there is no cure for IBS. It has been very difficult for me to accept this diagnosis at my young age more

Voting Question: "Pins and needles" prickling when anxious, hot, or sweating; what to do?

For a few years now, I've been living with a frustrating (beyond words) condition. Symptoms: · "Pins and needles" prickling itch, especially on head, neck, back, and shoulders. · No rash, redness, bumps, or anything else visually notable about skin in affected areas Triggers: · anxiety, excitement, or stress (increased heart rate?) · high ambient temperature · high body temperature due to physical exertion/working out · sweating · spicy foods (the first trigger I noticed) Treatments I've Tried: · no hot showers · keep skin well-moisturized · both avoiding sunlight and getting a good tan · haven't used antiperspirant for years; I only use aluminum-free deoderant · healthy, low-sodium diet · drinking lots of water (I drink at least two liters per day) · regular physical activity (I work out and run daily) The itch is not painful, but is maddeningly impossible to ignore; it's simply miserable. Thinking back, I remember noticing it when eating spicy food as far back as eight years ago (I'm 24 now). For the past few years, I've looked for answers online and found others with similar or identical symptoms (though many people mention a rash, something I don't have). I have read many stories of people going to doctors, dermatologists, even having surgery for it, only to have it come right back, if there was any change at all (the vast majority say the doctors could do nothing whatsoever), so I have no interest in seeing a doctor about it and couldn't afford one at this point anyway. This changes my life. I can't "play hard" (basketball, football, running, whatever) with my friends. I work out regularly, but can never go "all out," because of course I get too hot and start itching. I go to the gym late at night when other people aren't there, in case I should get too hot, and have to madly scratch these frustrating itches. I'm an otherwise healthy individual, 5'11", 160lbs, lean and athletic physique. My diet is healthy almost to a fault with regards to caloric and nutrient intake, including lots of water and appropriate amounts of vitamins. I have no known allergies (used to but they seem to have disappeared), and haven't been diagnosed with, nor do I have symptoms of asthma, diabetes, any STD or any other condition or disease . I don't take medication for anything. The itch does not vary based on my diet, sleep habits, or the time of year (although in winter it is easier to escape by going out into the Minnesota cold); it is always present and ready to be triggered. At one point I tried Scalpicin (because when this first started happening, it was only on my head), which gives a cooling sensation that did provide temporary relief. But Scalpicin is intended for psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis, neither of which do I have—and I can't afford to keep buying it. I have recently seen cetirizine (Zyrtec) suggested a couple places online, but have not tried it yet (not sure if it is appropriate in my case?). At this point I'm open to any suggestions. I hold out no hope for being "cured," and would be happy just to find a way to keep my body extra cool when exercising (short of carrying liquid nitrogen around in a vacuum flash with me). It's not always possible to get in front of a fan/air conditioner/dump a gallon of cold water over myself. If anyone should suggest something that actually leads to a "cure" for this condition, I would be grateful beyond words and greatly in your debt. I don't see that happening, but if it did, I would probably cry for joy. Thanks in advance for any help. more

Resolved Question: Are there any treatments for tourette syndrome?

I may have a minor case, even though I haven't been diagnosed. I throughout my day feel the urge to make a facial grimace and that urge causes me great discomfort and I suffer from that on a daily basis. I usually do make that grimace and it doesn't cause me much relieve because the urge is always there, and doing it makes it worse. It's the urge that's painful, not necessarily the tic itself. I just want to get rid of them all together. I first noticed these symptoms about 10 months ago. Besides that, I don't seem to have any other tics. Sometimes, though, I tend to shout in private or shake randomly for no reason, other than the urge being so strong that I can't bear holding it inside. Though, in public, I never do it, nor do I do the facial grimacing often. I usually can hold it in, in public, but sometimes, I definitely do feel the urge and it kills me. I do, however, feel the urge usually all through out the day, and when I keep myself physically busy, I don't seem to feel the urge as much. Though, are there any treatments that I can try that will get rid of the urge? The best way that I can describe it is not being able to blink your eye. You can try to keep it open for as long as possible, and even though they may cause great discomfort and pain, you eventually just have to blink. That's exactly how it feels, except the urges cause you a lot more pain and discomfort like you cannot imagine. I know there isn't a cure yet for it, but I was wondering if there were any remedies that I can try? I haven't gone to the doctor yet about it, but I heard you need to have had it for a year to be diagnosed and even then, they can prescribe some medicines that may or may not help, and can cause other side effects. I use to suffer from OCD (though not diagnosed), but I don't tend to notice it anymore. Sometimes I can get compulsive, but not as often as the urges I get. Anyway, I've heard from some people that marijuana can reduce the urges and many people tried it and it was successful for them. At this point, I'd be willing to try anything. I know there is a cure out there not discovered yet, but me having a mild case, I think in a near future there will be a cure. Plus, I'm aware that nobody is for sure on how you get tourettes, but that genetics plays a big role in it. I'm a 14 year old male, and I know males are more likely to get it than females. Is it possible that when I'm an adult, these symptoms will go away? If anybody knows any treatments that are successful, then I would highly appreciate your post. Thank you so much! more

Voting Question: Any Cure For TMJ When Pregnant?

I'm 12 months pregnant and I'm assuming I have TMJ (a temporary jaw problem). I didn't plan on going to the dentist unless it gets worse since I heard it takes a couple of weeks for symptoms to go away. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do about it? I can't take medicine since I'm pregnant so I'm trying to find a non-medical way to help with it. It doesn't hurt unless I move my jaw back.haha I meant 12 weeks, thanks for that correction! :) more

Resolved Question: How can I control or cure my panic attacks? (suffering from depression, too)?

My doc told me I have generalized anxiety disorder and as a result I have these rather nasty panic attacks. She told me about the symptoms, some of the causes, and prescribed some meds to help, but the side-effects are just really getting to me. How can I stop my panic attacks? Hopefully someone here has some experience or wisdom to share. more

Resolved Question: Fibromyalgia symptoms and treatments?

I havent been diagnosed with fibromylagia yet, and am half afraid to tell my doctor thats what I think I have. Shell probably tell me im nuts, plus I read that theres no real test to say...Yes you have it. But after accidentally stumbling across an ad for Lyrica, and it listed some symptoms of fibromyalgia, I thought to do some research on the subject. Ive been back and fourth to the doctor...goodness like 15 times in the last 2 years! Initially just complaining about extreme fatigue, troubles falling asleep, and not being able to stay asleep once I fell asleep. Then it stemmed into joint pain complaints. I did find out I had lyme disease, so my doctor thought thats what the problem was. Well I took the meds, got re tested and the lyme is cured. This is over a year ago now...but my symptoms are worse. Been back again a few times since then, and she just said theres nothing wrong with me, im just depressed. She tried giving me sleeping pills, which just made me more groggy so I stopped taking them. Then she gave me some off brand stress management med... not quite a depression med, which didnt help. After doing reaserch on fibromyalgia, im SURE thats what I have. Besides the extreme tiredness, and lack of ability to stay asleep, I have horrible muscle and joint aches. I wake up and feel like ive excersised for hours the day before! Im stiff and find it painful to move. What really got me though, is I have pain in all the places ive read online that affect people with fibromyalgia the most. The neck, hips, shoulders, and knees. Thats where most of my pain is. I have frequent headaches, and the other thing that really sold me was the IBS thats linnked with fibromylagia. Ive always had bad cramps and gas like I have to go to the bathroom realllly bad even when I dont have to go, and my bowel movements have always been strange, going alot some days, not going for a day or two at other times. Ive always wondered why until I read about IBS. I know fibromyalgia can mimic lupus and other conditions, but my doctor did test me for lupus and a few others and they were all negative. I also read that fibromyalgia can come about after very traumatic times, and it seems like mine started about 2 1/2 years ago. And ALOT has happened to me in that time. My sister was murdered 3 years ago, my mom died 2 years ago, my brother had a cancer scare shortly after our mom died. So thats another reason I suspect fibromyalgia. So does it really sound like I have fibromyalgia? And what can I do to help it? I cant live with this tiredness anymore! I dont even care about the pain as much as I do about constantly being tired and fatigued! more

Voting Question: What do you do to cure a constant, dry cough that makes you gag?

I've had this dry cough (with occasional phlegm) and plugging/popping ears for three weeks and I went to the clinic and the doctor said that my lungs sound fine and my ears have a little air in them and just to rest. I've been resting for weeks and I'm frustrated because I cannot find a medicine to even slightly relieve my symptoms! Please let me know if there are any home made remedies i can try! Would greatly appreciate it! Thxx :)! more
